Kith and Colette’s upcoming collaboration is more than just a duet, but includes a variety of players to create a multidimensional offering. Taking a new approach to releasing product, Kith and Colette opt to stagger the drops over the course of a week to give customers more of a curated experience. Below is a detailed breakdown of what is releasing and when during the Kith x Colette Week.
Colette (in-store) – Monday 6.13 | Kith (in-store and online) – Tuesday 6.14
The launch of the week starts with music the trifecta of Kith, Colette, and electronics frontrunner Beats by Dre releasing their tri-branded products, which includes a Pill+ and Powerbeats2 earphones. The Pill+ is a portable speaker equipped with Bluetooth technology and a 12-hour rechargeable battery, and is priced at $250 USD. The Powerbeats2 earphones are wireless via its Bluetooth compatibility and run on a 6-hour rechargeable battery. They also feature sweat- and water-resistant flexible earhooks, and are priced at $250 USD.
Colette (in-store) – Wednesday 6.15 | Kith (in-store and online) – Thursday 6.16
The second drop is comprised of two Puma styles designed in collaboration with Kith-founder Ronnie Fieg. Fieg applies his unique vision to the Blaze of Glory and Disc Blaze, altering both silhouettes. The RF-Blaze of Glory features an added forefoot strap with a metal buckle and asymmetrical co-branding. The upper is executed using premium Colette-blue nubuck, white reflective panels, and a tonal neoprene collar. This model will retail at $160 USD.
The Disc Blaze is presented in a slightly more dynamic colorway than the RF-Blaze of Glory’s tonal makeup by combining Colette-blue, white, and light grey. The toes are premium nubuck, while the rest of the upper is crafted from wrinkled leather. The formstripes are asymmetrical, with the medial side being white reflective. Lastly, the Trinomic midsole is dressed in a blue-to- white gradient with speckle detailing. This model will retail at $160 USD.
Both Pumas also feature custom-printed leather insoles that are a nod back to Kith’s first foray in Paris, which was their COA pop-up in 2014. Both models are also accompanied with completely custom packaging.
