Master Your Craft - Fieg for New Balance 10th Anniversary Campaign
Reflecting on our journey over the course of the past decade, we sought to highlight others who have dedicated themselves to their own vocations to become “masters of craft.” This campaign highlights different individuals across a range of professions, each whom we admire and consider masters of craft.
Michael Madsen - Iconic actor, writer, poet, photographer and narrator. Michael has appeared in over 75 films dating back to 1982, including Reservoir Dogs, Donnie Brasco, Kill Bill Volume 2, The Hateful Eight, and more.
Ryan Leslie - American singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. Leslie has been a prominent figure in the music industry with a storied track record producing for fellow artists, as well as his own albums.
Nobu Matsuhisa - Chef and restaurateur, Nobu Matsuhisa has changed the food industry by blending traditional Japanese dishes with a Peruvian approach. Well-known for his Nobu restaurants and hotels throughout the world, the iconic chef is also an author and has been featured in three major films.
Daniel Arsham - Based in New York, Daniel Arsham is a contemporary artist who highlights sculpture, architecture, illustration and film through crystalized motifs and further more, referring to his own work as the future. The artist also specializes in experiential spaces and more in his multidisciplinary approach. Daniel has been a continued friend of the brand, working with Ronnie Fieg to design all of Kith’s stores.
Martine Ali - The Brooklyn-based designer heads her own studio, designing a myriad of items and specializing in unique jewelry crafted through her own signature aesthetic. Ali channels her passion of 1990s & 2000s-era grunge and hip-hop cultures through a distinct and sharpened lens to create her instantly identifiable chain-based pieces.
Leonard Logsdail - Known for his work in the bespoke tailoring industry, Leonard has established himself as the perennial suit maker in New York and around the world. Leonard’s suits have set the wardrobe for a number of iconic films, including The Wolf of Wall Street, American Gangster, The Good Shepherd, and more.
Lucy Park - Based in Brooklyn, Lucy’s hands-on method with ceramics and garments has cultivated a loyal following. Working across a range of mediums, her hand-work and use of color palette has firmly established her distinct vision and touch.
Anthony Williams - A local New York City legend, Anthony is a chess aficionado well-known for his mastery of the game. Regarded for his self-taught strategy and impressively fast moves and decision-making, he has become a staple at community chess boards around the city. He can be found commonly at Washington Square Park or Bryant Park, besting a staggering amount of opponents daily.
