Reebok
Reebok was originally founded as "J.W Foster & Sons" in 1895 by Joe Foster, whose signature leather running shoe became a national phenomenon in the UK well through the 1930s. Sixty years later, Foster's grandsons accepted the challenge of carrying on the family legacy, but under a new moniker: Reebok. With athletic shoes in its DNA, Reebok broke into the US sportswear market, tapping some of the greatest professional athletes to wear its shoes. Its most iconic silhouettes to date came from this time period, including the Club C 85 and the Classic Leather sneakers.
