Kith Treats has collaborated with James Beard Award winning chef and restaurateur Missy Robbins on Il Noce (Italian for “The Nut”), a nougat and nut-infused confection that pays homage to her acclaimed Italian cuisine. The treat combines the brand’s signature vanilla ice cream with almond and pistachio torrone, toasted hazelnuts and Valrhona dark chocolate. It’s then topped with more hazelnuts and a pinch of Maldon sea salt, capturing celebrated Italian flavors reimagined through the Kith Treats lens.
Il Noce will coincide with the release of Treats Academy, a collection of 7 location-specific long sleeved tees, each emblazoned with an embroidered pocket patch and a school insignia-inspired puff print back graphic.
In addition to being the chef/owner of esteemed Brooklyn eateries Lilia and Misi, as well as pasta and specialties company MP, Chef Robbins holds an advisory board position with the Food Education Fund, whose mission is to empower students of hospitality, entrepreneurship and the culinary arts to pursue continued learning and cultivate sustainable careers. After participating in the FEF’s annual block party earlier this month, Kith Treats is furthering its support for the non-profit by donating proceeds from the sale of the collection to them.
Treats Academy will release on Saturday 9/25 at all Kith Treats shops and at 11AM EST on KithTreats.com and at 11AM CET at EU.Kith.com. Il Noce will be available at Kith Treats Brooklyn and SoHo from Thursday 9/23 through Sunday 9/26.
