Kith-founder Ronnie Fieg reprises his longstanding partnership with Timberland to create a trio of collaborative boots. Although Fieg’s relationship with Timberland traces back to his first-ever collaboration at David Z, this release will mark the third time the duo have worked together since the launch of Kith in 2011.
Fieg uses Timberland’s two most iconic silhouettes as the foundations for his new designs. First is the 40 Below Super Boot, a 10” boot that Fieg has created two versions of, both of which have been lined entirely in shearling. The colorways are a nod to staple original executions of the 6” Construct boot, which include waterproof black nubuck and distressed rust leather. Lastly, the quilted collars are crafted from full grain leather. Both Shearling 40 Belows will retail at $300 USD.
For the next model, Fieg reinterprets the 6” Construct. Luxurious navy nubuck is applied to the waterproof upper, while full shearling lining provides optimal warmth during the winter season. The cream leather collar acts as a minimal contrast to the otherwise tonal upper. The Shearling 6” will retail at $250 USD.
The Ronnie Fieg x Timberland Chapter 3 collection releases this Saturday at all Kith shops except Kith Miami, as well as online at 11AM EST on Kith.com. Each pair comes in special co-branded packaging.
