"Home Field Advantage" to Release in Slam Jam
This spring marks the first time KITH apparel will be distributed through other stockists. We have partnered with four of the top-tiered brands around the world, including the Italian art and street fashion institute - Slam Jam.
Slam Jam represents Milan, a definitive fashion capital, as well as an upper echelon of retailers. This year is the 25th anniversary of founder Luca Benini's creation. Benini transformed a passion for selling international and unknown brands out of his garage into an enterprise of very progressive retail spaces and a formidable webshop. Slam Jam boasts an extensive brand list ripe with exciting new labels and coveted veteran brands, as well as top tier accounts with a plethora of footwear companies.
Using their retail platforms as an extension, Slam Jam seeks to spread a culture. In 2004, Slam Jam began playing host to a bevy of high profile urban artists, with the first being Futura. Other galleries included Beautiful Losers, Boogie, and Giorgio Di Salvo.
These reasons and more are why KITH is honored to join Slam Jam to release our Spring 2015 collection. To coincide with the release on April 18, Slam Jam will host an in-store pop-up shop dedicated to "Home Field Advantage." The pop-up shop will be located at Via Pasquale Paoli, 3/5, Milan.
KITH Home Field Advantage will release this Friday, April 17, at both KITH locations and online at KithNYC.com. Slam Jam, Nano Universe Shibuya, United Arrows & Sons, and Colette will release the collection, in-store, the following day on April 18.
