After their first successful endeavor in 2014, Vans releases another three MTE models in the form of one more Sk8-Hi and two Era silhouettes. The MTE model is constructed to endure the horrid fall and winter elements by utilizing a thick Scotchgard™-treated suede upper. Other notable enhancements include a warm fleece liner and ankle collar, while the interior of the sneakers include a heat retention layer to maintain warmth and dryness. The Sk8-Hi model is designed with a rich burgundy upper with light brown leather panelling amongst the heel and formstripes. The first Era features a soft grey suede with similar panelling at the heels, while its counterpart uses another fall-color with forest green suede. The Vans Sk8-Hi MTE - Chocolate/Tobacco Brown and Era MTE - Forest Night/Tobacco Brown are available now at both KITH locations, while the Era MTE - Castlerock/Tobacco Brown is only available at the New KITH Shop.
